Dr Robyn Barnes has worked as a dietitian for over 25 years, and specialised in the field of diabetes for 20 years. She is the Diabetes Coordinator for South West Sydney Local Health District, as well as a Senior Dietitian at the Diabetes Centre at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. She is a Credentialed Diabetes Educator and Accredited Practising Dietitian. Robyn completed her PhD (University of Newcastle) on the impact of maternal weight gain on GDM maternal and neonatal outcomes. She is a lead or co-author of several publications on this topic. She is a NSW Co-Convenor of the Dietitians Association of Australia Diabetes Special Interest Group.
